Yes, Jellystones uses FDA approved silicone. Silicone is odorless and tasteless and most importantly silicone will not support the growth of mold or bacteria.   What are the jewelry pieces made of? Food Safe Silicone - The same silicone used in silicone cookware and many teethers on the market.   How do I care for my Jellystone Designs jewelry? We recommend hand washing all products before use. To maintain the cleanliness of your Jellystones, simply wash in warm soapy water, wipe with an all-natural wet wipe.   How do I adjust the cord? Simply cut to desired length (allowing for 1.5cm extra for knot), rethread the clasp and knot cord.   How long does will my Jellystone last? For continuous use as a mouthing/chewing/sucking substitute, we recommend to discard after 6 months or if any irregularities occur.
